We are delighted to announce that tenor Anthony Flaum has joined our roster for general management. Anthony is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and the National Opera Studio, in London. His studies were generously supported by English National Opera and the John Wates Foundation.
Highlights in recent seasons include his main stage debut at English National Opera as Borsa in Jonathan Miller’s production of Rigoletto, Rodolfo La bohème for Iford Arts Festival, Turiddù Cavelleria Rusticana for Portsmouth Choral Society, Don José Carmen for Tonbridge Philharmonic Society and the title role in UC Opera’s production of Verdi’s Aroldo at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
In the current season Anthony will perform Lensky Eugene Onegin for OperaUpClose at the Arcola Theatre, Headstrong/Hermosa Tales of Offenbach for Opera Della Luna on tour and Tybalt Roméo et Juliette for Grange Park Opera. He will also understudy Bill in Jonathan Dove’s Flight for Scottish Opera.
