We are delighted to have five artists returning to English Touring Opera for their spring 2026 tour of The Gondoliers and Pagliacci.

The season opens in Sheffield with The Gondoliers, followed by Pagliacci, touring to a further nine venues, closing in Durham at the end of May.

We are delighted that Samuel Pantcheff will return to the Salzburger Landestheater for the 2020/21 season, this follows the abrupt end to last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His roles will include Kaluna in Paul Abraham’s Die Blume von Hawaii, Valentin in FaustPapageno in Die Zauberflöte and Miles in the Austrian premiere of Stuart Macae’s Anthropocene.

We are delighted that Samuel Pantcheff will join the Internationales Opernstudio Gerard Mortier at the Salzburger Landestheater for the 2019/20 season.

He will perform and cover numerous roles in Weber’s OberonLohengrin, the Austrian premiere of Stuart Macae’s AnthropoceneViva La Diva (Donizetti’s Le convenienze e le inconvenienze teatrali) and Haydn’s Creation.

We are delighted to announce that baritone Samuel Pantcheff has joined our roster. Samuel is a graduate of the Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music where he studied with Glenville Hargreaves and Audrey Hyland, and won the Blythe-Buesst Opera Prize. He is also a Britten-Pears Young Artist and currently studies with Gary Coward. 

In the current season Samuel makes his debut with Diva Opera as Prince Yamadori Madama Butterfly and Haly L’italiana in Algeri and returns to Scottish Opera as Pulcino BambinO on tour to Oman. Concerts include Handel’s Solomon at St John’s Smith Square and a programme of Scarlatti and Purcell on tour to South America with Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
